Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI)

Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI) is a leading national business chamber that aims to make a global impact on women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, and professionals from all backgrounds. It is supported by influential international women's networks such as G100, ALL Ladies League (ALL), Women Economic Forum (WEF), and SHEconomy, which collectively have 250,000 members and industry leaders. WICCI works towards bringing about significant changes in governmental policies, laws, incentives, and entrepreneurial ecosystems to strongly encourage and empower women in business across all sectors.

The structure of WICCI Councils is designed to encompass a diverse range of knowledge and leadership from various segments of the economy and society. This enables policy changes and decision-making at the highest levels, as well as transformation at the grassroots level to alter mindsets and society as a whole. With over 10,000 office bearers in 600+ councils across 160+ sectors, WICCI focuses on mainstreaming women's voices and advocating for women's interests in policy making at multiple levels.

Representing a wide array of industries, the chamber engages the perspectives of thousands of women entrepreneurs and professionals. Through its numerous councils at national, regional, state, city, and bilateral levels, as well as its three national boards (Governing, Advisory, and Executive), WICCI provides concrete steps and recommendations to relevant government authorities and institutions to empower women-owned businesses and increase their competitiveness.

The input from these diverse sources contributes to the development of unique ideas, interventions, and innovative recommendations brought forth by the councils and presented to government authorities. These policies have a significant impact on the growth of women's businesses and professions, promoting equity and inclusivity.

WICCI GR

The purpose WICCI GR  is to promote, cultivate, and empower women in Greece and India in economic, cultural, tourism, educational, and environmental matters. This will be achieved through mutual support, proactive interventions in public life, facilitation of cooperation between the two countries, as well as implementation of projects for women using funds provided by various governmental organizations and private legal entities of any form, raising awareness and sensitization on all issues concerning women in the modern era, as well as the overall promotion of trade, educational, and cultural relations between Greece and India. 

ΕΛΛΗΝΟ-ΙΝΔΙΚΗ ΕΠΙΧΕΙΡΗΜΑΤΙΚΗ ΚΑΙ ΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΟΡΓΑΝΩΣΗ ΓΥΝΑΙΚΩΝ (WICCI GR)

Σκοπός του WICCI GR είναι η προώθηση, καλλιέργεια και ενδυνάμωση των οικονομικών, πολιτιστικών, τουριστικών, εκπαιδευτικών και περιβαλλοντικών θεμάτων μεταξύ γυναικών από την Ελλάδα και την Ινδία, μέσω αμοιβαίας υποστήριξης, προληπτικών παρεμβάσεων στο δημόσιο βίο για την προσέγγιση των δύο χωρών , υλοποίησης έργων για τις γυναίκες μέσω κονδυλίων που διατίθενται από διάφορους κυβερνητικούς οργανισμούς αλλά και από νομικά πρόσωπα ιδιωτικού δικαίου οποιασδήποτε μορφής, η ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση για όλα τα θέματα που αφορούν τις γυναίκες στη σύγχρονη εποχή, καθώς και η εν γένει προώθηση των εμπορικών, εκπαιδευτικών και πολιτιστικών σχέσεων μεταξύ Ελλάδος και Ινδίας.
